In Visual Experiments: Irritation - 2D, 2013, new pictures emerge, originating from a number of photographs of the building, Science Park II, and its spatial surroundings. They reflect the atmosphere of this place as well as the effect of the building being observed. No pure architectural photographs are shown here, it is rather a matter of compositions, of constructed pictures that give rise to irritation and it is often, only on a second viewing, that the unreality of that which is displayed becomes visible. Image editing (the compression of several images onto one, superimposition, colour alteration, repetition) is partly deliberately made to be invisible, partly deliberately made to be visible. The subjective perception of reality is questioned. In addition to the photographic two-dimensional illustration of a three-dimensional spatial structure, reality is altered for the second time by means of digital image editing.
